![]() ![]() I simply want the ability to fire the torpedo(s) when I deem it the best angle of attack. This isn't some extravagant concept I am asking for. It isn't a hard concept, I know in real life if a captain says fire torpedoes then the torpedoes will be fired, and if someone does not, they will either be court martialed for failure to follow a direct order or they will be hung as a traitor. ![]() I WANT A FIRE THE FICKING TORPEDOES BUTTON. But since they take their sweet time, the enemy ship has all the time in the world to turn away. But that Missouri you lost track of, still in stealth and moved to a flanking spot, is the one that's going to wreck you.I am losing my mind on this, when my TB or DD is 200m away from the broadside enemy ship, they take their sweet time firing the torpedoes. You may be angled to make gunfire from a specific direction have a bad time trying to hit you. Because if you're in a spot where people from 3 or so compass directions can shoot at you, you are in the wrong. to limit LOS so less people can shoot at you. Anyways, the most devastating shots are from the ones that you're not expecting. After enough experience I then could see how they were doing it. When I started, yes, I questioned how some guys were hitting me regularly at long range. All with minimum time spent on the target. ![]() You expect to nail it as it briefly shows broadside. Your guns are about to be done loading, you swing it over before the Cruiser starts its turn, and fire expecting that's where the Cruiser will be at in the turn at that predicted time. Instinct tells that the Cruiser is going to turn around to avoid the focus fire. You're playing a BB, shooting at another BB, but notice at the corner of your eye an enemy Cruiser under duress. You play the game enough, especially a particular ship line or 1 specific ship enough, you instinctively know how the guns, shells behave.Īlso, play the game enough and you start getting a feel of what the target may do next.Ĭombine the above and you can see at the corner of your vision an opportunity. Guys get good with their aim, some sooner than others. ![]()
